Definition of the Organization’s Activities
Company provides insurance brokerage services in three European Union member states—Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia—acting as an intermediary between the insurer (the provider of insurance services) and the insured (the individual who holds an insurance policy). In a standard scenario, the insured contacts Company regarding an incident they believe qualifies for coverage under their policy.
The core activities of Company include:
Receiving Customer Requests – Accepting initial contact from the insured regarding a potential claim.
Recording Case Details – Documenting all relevant information and details of the request.
Gathering Supporting Documentation – Obtaining any necessary information about the insured and collecting all evidence related to the incident (e.g., circumstances, expenses).
Transmitting Information to the Insurer – Forwarding details of the potential claim to the insurer and obtaining a unique case reference number, which is then logged in the case record.
Facilitating Payment Processes – Collaborating with the insurer to confirm coverage and arrange payment of valid claims, if applicable.
Generating Invoices – Preparing invoices for any services or expenses incurred by Company while processing the case and submitting them to the insurer.
Concluding the Case – Closing the case in the internal system once all actions have been completed and finalizing any remaining administrative tasks.
Through these activities, Company ensures efficient, accurate, and compliant handling of insurance requests, maintaining clear communication between the insurer and the insured at every stage of the process.
